A full vehicle wrap is a billboard on wheels. It's the right choice when you want a car that stops people on the sidewalk. But not every message needs a whole car. Sometimes the job is simpler: put your name in front of as many people as possible, on as many streets as possible, as soon as possible.
That's what Tiles are for. Tiles are Vugo's new door format: a 20 × 18-inch panel on the door of a rideshare, taxi or fleet car, carrying one visual and one short message. They're printed, shipped to the drivers on your campaign and applied by them, so a campaign can be on the road quickly and across far more cars than a wrap budget would usually reach.
Less surface, more streets
The trade-off is deliberate. Tiles have a fraction of a wrap's surface, so they can't tell a long story. They aren't meant to. Tiles are a light touch point: your logo, your name and one line, seen again and again on the cars moving through a city.

That's how brand familiarity is built in the real world. Not from one huge impression, but from many small ones: on the drive to work, outside the coffee shop, in the hotel driveway, at the stoplight. Less surface on each car means you can be on more of them.
Why brands choose Tiles
- Wide exposure, fast. The start date can be as soon as seven days after you submit, against two weeks for a Standard Wrap. There's no wrap-shop appointment to book: Vugo prints the Tiles and ships them to the drivers.
- One design fits every car. Tiles are the same 20 × 18 inches on every vehicle, so one artwork file runs on the whole campaign, whatever the make or model.
- Production is included. Printing and shipping are part of the price per car, with no separate production or installation lines.
- Room to scale. Because Tiles ship to drivers rather than waiting on an install shop, they suit campaigns that want many cars, or many markets, at once.
- Clean and uncluttered. A car carries at most two Tiles advertisers and never shares with a Standard Wrap, so your message isn't lost in a crowd.
- Proof built in. Installed Tiles are verified from install photos before billing starts.
Two or four per car
Buy Tiles two or four to a car. Two puts one on each side of the car. Four covers every door, so the car carries your message whichever way it's facing.

How a Tiles campaign runs

- Design one artwork. Build it on the Vugo template, or design it in Canva: connect Canva in Vugo Platform and it opens a canvas at the exact size for Tiles, then brings the finished PDF back to your campaign.
- Vugo prints and ships. Every file is checked before it's printed, then the Tiles go to the drivers on your campaign.
- Drivers apply them. Tiles are centered on the flat door panel below the window, clear of handles, locks, badges and body creases.
- Install photos are checked. Billing starts once the installs are verified.
- On the road. Tiles run two months or more, in the markets you choose.
The specs
- Finished size: 20 inches wide by 18 inches tall, the same on every car.
- Artboard: 22 × 20 inches, with a 1-inch bleed on every side that's trimmed off. Run backgrounds to the edge.
- Safe area: keep type and logos at least ¼ inch inside the trim.
- File: a print PDF under 8 MB, with images at 150 DPI or better at print size. Picture files are kept as previews only and never printed.
- Lead time: a start date at least 7 days after you submit.
- Flight: two months or more.
The full details for every format are in the ad specs and creative guide.
Designing for a door
Tiles are read in a second or two, from the sidewalk or the next lane. The best ones keep it simple:
- One message. Your name, one line and one visual. If it needs a second sentence, it's a wrap.
- Big and bold. Large type, strong contrast and a logo that reads from across the street.
- Recognition over detail. Tiles work by repetition, so lead with what you want people to remember, not everything you could say.
Where Tiles fit
Tiles work well on their own and alongside Vugo's other formats:
- A launch in many cities at once, when the goal is to be seen everywhere quickly.
- A season or promotion, kept in view for its whole run.
- With wraps, so a few fully wrapped cars make the statement and many cars with Tiles repeat it.
- With in-vehicle screens, so the brand people see on the street is the one on the screen inside the ride.
- Around Vugo Planning, with your Tiles flight on the same board as your other campaigns and the moments that matter in each market.
