Vugo doesn’t provide tablets or screens: the screen your passengers see is a tablet of your own. Here’s what it needs.
- Tablet
- An Android tablet 7 inches or larger, or an iPad
- Software
- Android 7.0 or later, or iPadOS 15 or later
- Your phone
- A separate device: an iPhone on iOS 15 or later, or an Android phone on Android 7.0 or later, runs the Vugo Driver app. A phone can’t be the screen.
- Location
- Turned on, so Vugo can confirm where each ad played
- Connection
- Online while you drive; an offline screen earns nothing until it’s back
- In the car
- Mounted to face the back seat and plugged into the car’s power
Tiles. Self-install, drive, and earn.
Get matched
Tiles are 20 × 18-inch panels for your doors, two or four per car. Vugo matches drivers to Tiles campaigns in their market.
They come to you
The Tiles are printed and shipped to you, at no cost, with a tracking number so you know when they’ll arrive.
Apply and send photos
Put them on yourself and send photos of the car. Vugo checks them before the campaign starts paying.
Get paid monthly
Each campaign pays a monthly rate, set per campaign and paid after each month ends. Campaigns run at least two months.

Tell us where you drive and how much. Vugo matches drivers to campaigns in their market.
Get wrapped
A professional shop installs the wrap at no cost to you. Full or partial, depending on the campaign.
Drive as usual
Keep your normal schedule and send a quick photo when we ask. Campaigns run at least two months, and if one is extended, you decide whether to keep the wrap on.
Get paid
Each wrap pays a monthly rate, set per campaign and paid after each month ends.
What drivers usually ask.
Do I have to pay for anything?
Not for wraps or Tiles. Vugo covers the wrap, the installation and the removal, and prints and ships Tiles to you. To run ads inside the car, you use a tablet of your own.
What are Tiles?
Smaller panels for your car’s doors, 20 × 18 inches, two or four per car. Vugo ships them to you and you apply them yourself — no shop appointment. How Tiles work.
Will the wrap damage my car?
Professionally installed vinyl is designed to be removed cleanly at the end of the campaign. Installation and removal are done by the shops Vugo works with.
How are earnings set?
Per campaign, based on the market, the coverage (full or partial), and the flight length. You see the terms before you accept a match.
Can I drive for Uber or Lyft while wrapped?
Yes. Campaigns are designed around normal rideshare and taxi driving. Check your platform’s vehicle policies for anything specific to your market.
Do you work with Lyft and taxi drivers, or only Uber?
Vugo works with drivers on Uber, Lyft, delivery apps, taxi, and other fleets. Driving for more than one app is fine. Delivery drivers can carry wraps.
Does Vugo provide the screen?
No. Vugo doesn’t provide tablets or screens. The screen is a tablet of your own that meets the requirements above, separate from the phone you drive with.
