The rideshare audience nearly doubled.
In five years the share of Americans using rideshare went from about one in ten to more than one in six. Nearly all of them live in urban areas: the metros where in-vehicle screens run and where wrap campaigns are planned market by market.
Riders are working families.
Most rideshare users are also drivers and workers, and nearly half live with children. They aren’t a niche: they’re the same people a brand reaches on the road, in a different seat.
Time in the car is still time.
The average American spends 44 minutes a day in a vehicle, and people in their prime working years spend 54. That’s the time a wrap is seen from the next lane and a screen is seen from the back seat.
