ADVERTISER PLAYBOOKS / COMPETITOR CONQUEST

Be in view
while they compare.

In categories where people shop around nearby — cars, phones, banks, gyms, quick meals — the choice is made close to the competition. Wrapped cars that swarm the streets there at the busy hours put your offer in view right then.

Goal: Win customers who are comparing nearbyRuns 2–6 months
THE PLAY

How it runs.

01

Make the switch offer

A real reason to choose you — a trade-in bonus, a rate, a free month — on a page that works on a phone. Be able to prove any comparison you make.

02

Wrap the cars

Vugo® recruits drivers in your market and has the wraps installed by professional shops, verified from install photos, for two months or more.

03

Swarm the corridor

Schedule swarms with a small radius on the public streets near the competition, or along the corridor that leads there, for its busy hours, such as Saturday afternoons on dealer row. Drivers keep to lawful driving and parking.

04

Circle the competition

Where screens run, add a competitor’s address and a radius, so your ad plays only in cars inside that circle, with time of day favoring its busy hours.

05

Count your own visits

Add your own location to count working cars that passed nearby or were headed there, before and during the campaign.

06

Keep it clean

Name a competitor only in a truthful comparison you can prove, and never use its logo. No swarms or circles around hospitals, clinics or law offices. Every ad is reviewed against Vugo’s Content Guidelines.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you run it.

Can our ad name the competitor?

A truthful comparison you can prove is allowed, but it carries legal risk, so have your counsel review any ad that names a competitor, and never use its logo. Many conquest ads work without naming anyone.

Can we run it in our city?

Wraps and Tiles are recruited for each campaign, so most U.S. metros are possible. Screens run where drivers and fleets already carry them. Share your market and dates and Vugo confirms what’s available.

How is it priced?

Screens are priced per thousand validated impressions; wraps and Tiles per car for the flight. Every campaign is quoted for its format, market, and dates.
