For a local business, the question behind every campaign is the same: did it bring people closer to my door? Vugo Platform now helps you see that, with visit measurement on screen campaigns.

How it works

When you set up a screen campaign, add your storefront, venue or office as a place to measure. Vugo draws a circle around it and, as your campaign runs, counts the working cars in its network that:

  • Passed nearby: came inside your circle while working.
  • Were headed there: had a known destination inside your circle.
  • Arrived: reached it, where the fleet gives us a dispatch feed. Without one, the report shows a dash rather than a zero, because a missing feed isn't the same as no visits.

Measurement only

Visit measurement is exactly that: measurement. It never changes where or how often your ad plays. That keeps the two jobs apart:

  • Only plays here is a delivery limit you set in campaign setup, an address and a radius your ad stays inside.
  • Just measure visits here counts visits and leaves delivery alone.

You can use either, both, or neither, and every location on your campaign is labeled with which one it is.

Reading the numbers

Three cards from a campaign report: passed nearby, headed there, and arrived, which shows a dash without a dispatch feed.
Venue proximity on your campaign report. Sample data.

The counts sit in the Venue proximity section of your campaign report, next to where and when your ad played. Look at them together:

  • A rising passed nearby count means your campaign is in the streets around you.
  • Headed there shows rides already bound for your area, the moments a well-timed ad can tip a decision.
  • Pair them with your QR scans and your own sales or bookings for the fuller picture.

The counts are of working cars in Vugo's network. They don't identify riders, and they aren't a count of customers.

Good fits

  • Restaurants and bars: see how much of your campaign happens in the blocks around you on your busiest nights.
  • Retail: add each store and compare.
  • Hotels and venues: count the cars headed your way around check-in times and events.
  • Competitor areas: measure around a competitor's location to see how much of the action you're reaching.
